TON Foundation Partners with HashKey to Facilitate Cryptocurrency and Fiat Exchange Through Telegram Platform

She announced TON Foundation, the entity responsible for management TON Blockchain Network, announced a new strategic partnership with HashKey Group, owner of a licensed cryptocurrency exchange in Hong Kong. This partnership aims to facilitate the entry and exit of cryptocurrencies and fiat funds for users of the digital wallet service within the social networking application Telegram, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.

In its first phase, the partnership between HashKey and the TON Foundation focuses on the Hong Kong market. With plans to expand into other markets in the Asia Pacific region if the initial phase is successful.

The move indicates a growing interest in the possibilities of using cryptocurrencies in social media applications. Focusing on the Asia-Pacific region, which is seeing considerable growth in the digital currency market.

The partnership aims to expand the availability of fiat gateways for Telegram wallet users in the Asia-Pacific region. This makes it easier for them to buy and sell cryptocurrencies using traditional fiat currencies.

Additionally, the partnership will explore ways to support early-stage projects within the TON ecosystem.

“By simplifying the experience of entry and exit gateways for fiat currencies, we seek to make cryptocurrencies an integral part of daily life,” explained Lifu Weng, COO of HashKey Group, “by promoting the accessibility and innovation within the TON ecosystem.

TON also added that it is also exploring the HashKey suite's cash management options.

HashKey is expanding its presence in Asia, where it co-hosted the Web3 Festival earlier this week in Hong Kong. On Monday, HashKey launched its global cryptocurrency exchange, HashKey Global, after securing a license in Bermuda. The company also unveiled its Ethereum Layer-2 blockchain on Tuesday.
